To get hosting on Truehost Canada, follow these steps:
First, head over to https://truehost.ca/, which is our homepage.
From here, click on Hosting, and from the drop-down, you will find a list of products.
Choose the one you are interested in.
And in our case, we will go with cPanel web hosting. When you tap on it, this is what you will see next;
This is the current web hosting packages we offer. It shows you the prices and features per package.
So, go ahead and peruse through the plans and pick the one you want. To help you choose, consider the following:
- Your budget
- Features you want
- The level of your website. If you are just starting out, consider going with the lowest plan to save on costs. You can upgrade later.
Once you’ve decided on the right plan, go ahead and click ‘Select.’
The next step is to choose a domain name.
You have three choices here:
- Register a new domain
- Transfer an existing domain to us
- Update nameservers of your existing domain
If you are registering a new domain, just type the name, choose your preferred extension, and click check.
If your chosen domain is available, go ahead and add it to your cart. Or you can go through the suggestions given and pick the one that aligns with your brand.
Scroll down and click ‘Continue.’
Here, you can choose a billing cycle from 1 month, 6 months, 12, months, 24 months, or 36 months.
Note:
You save a ton when you choose a longer billing cycle.
For example, you will pay $4.36 if you decide to pay monthly and only $2.49 if you go with 36 months, that’s 75% savings!
If everything checks out, click ‘Continue.’
Here, you can see that your domain name has hosting. And you can also select some add-ons.
Remember, not all of them are free.
For instance, ID Protection will cost you a couple of dollars.
Review your order in the next step;
And click ‘Checkout now.’
Next, create an account:
Create a strong password:
Choose your preferred payment method.
Truehost supports three methods:
- Card & Money Pay – DPO
- PayPal
- Stripe
If you have additional information or notes, add them to the box provided, and toggle the button to join our email list.
Double-check your submissions and click ‘Complete Order.’
From here, complete your order by making the payment.
In a few minutes, details will be sent to your inbox (the email used to create an account).
